5 Best Places to See New Hampshire’s Fireworks
The Fourth of July may be on a Thursday this year, but New Hampshire’s fireworks won’t be in short supply. With hundreds of options to choose from, and all happening on the same day, you’ll want to pick the most jaw-dropping show. Here are the five best locations we recommend checking out this July 4th.
Waterville Valley Town Square
Waterville Valley may be known for its popular skiing mountain, but the town also pulls off an incredible firework display. Start your holiday with a bang as you enjoy the 9:30 PM show over the gorgeous Corcoran Pond.
Want to be at the center of all the excitement? Then visit Center Harbor and celebrate the 4th of July with the Center Harbor Town Band. You’ll experience dancing, views of Lake Winnipesaukee, and local restaurants. Don’t miss out – the band plays at 7:00 PM and fireworks begin at 9:15 PM.
Not far from Center Harbor is the firework show in Meredith. Stop by the quaint Mills Falls Inn for a bite to eat or shop the small town before you experience the spectacular display at 9:30 PM over Meredith Bay.
What’s a Fourth of July celebration without a parade? Hop over to Laconia High School and Opechee Park to see festive floats, costumes, and custom cars. Don’t forget to bring blankets or chairs, immediately following the parade will be vendors, music, and an evening of fireworks. Activities begin at 4:00 PM!
Celebrate our Nation’s birthday “Jefferson Style.” Join the community as they partake in their annual holiday events, from a Fishing Derby to family-friendly games. After a delicious cookout, you can finally relax to watch the fireworks above.
Come join us for our Fourth of July Extravaganza at Owl’s Nest Resort. Invite the whole family to stay in a luxurious 4-bedroom cottage or book a cozy one-bedroom Nano for that special someone. Whatever accommodation you choose, your package will include free shuttling to the Waterville Valley firework display!
