This summer, Owl’s Nest Resort invites the public to take their best shot in a once-in-a-lifetime golf challenge—
with a beautiful one bedroom Nano Cottage on the line.
Starting July 1, 2025,
and available most Monday-Thursday’s, golfers at Owl’s Nest Resort can enter the “Home in 1™” contest with an entry fee of $50 and a paid 18 Hole Round at either of our championship courses. Included in your entry fee is an Owl’s Nest “Home in 1” hat, an Owl’s Nest “Home in 1” golf ball, and a $5 donation made in your name to Mid-State Health. If you get a hole in one on the Par 3 tenth hole on our Nicklaus course you will win a Nano Cottage, located along the resort’s scenic Lafayette Road.
You may pay for your Contest Entry Fee in the SportsNest before your round or at Hole #10 in the middle of your round!

HOW IT WORKS – KEY RULES AT A GLANCE
Start Date: July 1, 2025
Location: Hole #10, Owl’s Nest Resort Course, Thornton, NH
Entry Fee: $50 per attempt (with a paid 18-hole round, includes and Owl’s Nest Home in 1 Hat, an Owl’s Nest Home in 1 golf ball and a $5 donation made in your name to Mid-State Health
Eligibility: Must be 18+, with valid ID. One entry per person per day. Professional golfers (including any person that has accepted money for lessons or has competed for money in any professional golf tournament) are ineligible to participate
SHOT RULES:
– One attempt only—no practice shots, mulligans, or re-dos
– Must use official ball provided by Owl’s Nest
– Shot must be witnessed by an Owl’s Nest Official Staff
– All equipment must meet USGA standards
– You will be videotaped during your shot for documentation & witness
PRIZE DELIVERY:
If you hit the hole-in-one, you win the home (pending prize acceptance and closing conditions)**
BONUS:
Every entrant receives a free Owl’s Nest logo golf hat and Owl’s Nest Home in 1 Golf Ball ($40 value)
CHARITY:
10% of all entry fees will benefit Mid-State Health Center in Plymouth, NH

Book and play a full 18-hole round at Owl’s Nest Resort, during your round at hole #10, attempt the shot! You must check-in at the pro shop and pay your additional entry fee.
This contest will run to the end of the 2025 golf season OR when a home has been won!
Yes! You may enter once per day. Just return, play a new round, and try again.
Only participants who have officially registered and signed the contest entry form prior to their attempt are eligible to win; unregistered entries will not be considered for the prize.
If no eligible hole-in-one is made by the end of the 2025 season, the contest ends and the grand prize is not awarded.
