Racquets & Retail Supervisor
Originally from Nashua, NH, Alex joined us in 2022 after earning his degree in Business Administration from Plymouth State University in 2021. Alex knew Owl’s Nest Resort would be his new home after attending a golf fundraising tournament here in 2017 for the PSU baseball team.
Alex grew up as a 3-season athlete and has always wanted to incorporate sports within his career. For the past 2 years, Alex served in various roles in Outside Operations and Golf Operations. He became a year-round employee in 2023, having decided to relocate permanently to the White Mountains area.
Alex has gained tremendous knowledge and experience from the Sports Nest; when Cosmin, our Director of Racquets, needed an Assistant for the 2024 season, Alex was a natural fit for this newly created Retail & Racquets Supervisor role. He will take part in scheduling and supervising the day-to-day operation of the racquet shop’s merchandising concession and, with the assistance of the Director of Racquet Sports and Racquet Professionals, will supervise the Racquets Shop staff.
In his past experience, Alex has become increasingly comfortable in his client-facing roles within the Hospitality industry. He is excited to grow in this new role and help take the ONR Racquet complex to the next level. Alex has gotten to know many golf members and is looking forward to developing those relationships further, as he moves to the new Racquet Headquarters as part of the Sports Nest expansion project. Establishing new customers in the Pickleball and Tennis area is his goal this season. Creating new relationships with our customers and working with existing partners to bring camps and clinics to the Resort is a goal of the Racquets team this year.
