Owl’s Nest Resort is taking an important step toward sustainability with plans to install solar panels on the Lafayette Lodge. The project, completed in partnership with New England–based renewable energy company ReVision Energy, represents a continued commitment to reducing the resort’s environmental impact while supporting clean energy initiatives.
The installation includes more than 160 solar panels on the Lafayette Lodge, which are expected to generate approximately 70,470 kWh of electricity annually. This renewable energy production will significantly reduce the resort’s carbon footprint while contributing to a more sustainable energy future.
From an environmental perspective, this level of energy production is equivalent to keeping more than 69,000 pounds of carbon out of the atmosphere each year. The project demonstrates how hospitality destinations can integrate renewable energy solutions while continuing to provide high-quality guest experiences.
Owl’s Nest partnered with ReVision Energy, a 100% employee-owned renewable energy company serving New England. With more than two decades of experience and thousands of solar installations across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, ReVision Energy is recognized as a leader in residential and commercial renewable energy projects.
The Lafayette Lodge, Owl’s Nest’s boutique lodging property, features modern accommodations and convenient access to many of the resort’s amenities. The addition of solar energy to the building reflects the resort’s ongoing efforts to combine comfort, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
As Owl’s Nest continues to grow, initiatives like this solar project help support a long-term vision focused on sustainability and responsible development in the White Mountains.
