During the winter season, Owl’s Nest Resort hosted an indoor golf simulator league at Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar, giving golfers the opportunity to stay sharp even when the outdoor golf course was closed.
Owl’s Nest’s indoor simulators feature more than 80 virtual courses, allowing players to experience iconic fairways from around the world while practicing indoors. The simulators provide realistic 3D graphics and advanced tracking technology that measures contact efficiency and shot performance, helping golfers refine their game throughout the off-season.
Participants had the opportunity to join one of two league formats during the 8-week season.
The Recreational Scramble League allowed teammates to work together on every shot. Both players would hit their tee shots, choose the best option, and continue play from that spot. Scores were tracked week to week using a cumulative score-to-par format.
The Competitive Best Ball League allowed each teammate to play their own ball throughout each hole, with the lowest score between the two players counting as the team’s score.
These leagues offered a fun and social way for golfers to stay active during the winter months while enjoying the indoor golf simulators at Owl’s Nest Resort.
