Owl’s Nest Resort hosted its 3rd Annual Holiday Gala at the Lakehouse, bringing together guests for an elegant evening of seasonal celebration, great food, live music, and festive cheer.
The event began with a cocktail hour featuring a complimentary drink and passed hors d’oeuvres such as potato latkes, vegetarian Greek salad sushi rolls, bacon-wrapped chicken skewers, and pork belly bao buns. Guests then enjoyed a three-course plated dinner, followed by live music from Emily’s Garage Band, creating a lively and memorable holiday atmosphere.
The evening’s menu featured an Orange & Pomegranate Salad to start, made with baby spinach, mandarin oranges, pomegranate seeds, shallots, goat cheese, and rosemary Dijon dressing.
For the main course, guests selected from several seasonal options including Braised Beef Short Rib, Potato Crusted Halibut, or Pumpkin & Butternut Stuffed Ravioli, each served with thoughtfully paired sides and sauces.
Dessert concluded the evening with a Poached Pear served with cinnamon cake, bourbon caramel, whipped cream, and berries.
Guests were seated family-style throughout the Lakehouse, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for friends, families, and resort guests to celebrate together.
As part of the evening’s community spirit, attendees were encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support the New Hampshire Food Bank.
The Holiday Gala has become a beloved seasonal tradition at Owl’s Nest Resort, bringing guests together each year to celebrate the holiday season in the White Mountains.
