Let Us Show You…
Take a virtual tour of Panorama Six82! Through this blog post, you will learn about: the ambiance & dining experience, outdoor dining, the cuisine, the bar, the Private Dining Room, and our awards & features.
The Restaurant
Let’s talk about our on-site restaurant, Panorama Six82, because it’s open to the public! The name came from its panoramic views of the mountains and golf course, along with its 682 feet of elevation. The restaurant is run by our Executive Chef, Juan Olivares, Dining Services Manager, Mike MacDonald, and their incredible team.
Panorama Six82 is open all year round. The price range is vast and varies based on the mood and experience our guests are looking for. We offer small bites during Happy Hour to full 3-course meals. Peak hours are from noon to 3, and 5 to 8 PM.
Ambiance & Dining Experience
Our Dining Services Manager, Mike MacDonald, says, “The ambiance changes throughout the day; in the afternoon it’s mostly a place where golfers come straight from their early morning tee times, or tennis players come from their recent match, but at night we have all kinds of diners just looking for an amazing meal and a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.” The colors in the restaurant were chosen to promote feelings of calmness, neutrality, and positivity. We do not have a dress code, but typically our diners wear business casual.
The dining experience at Panorama is, as we like to call it, “White Mountain casual” with a big city menu and service. When dining indoors for dinner, the atmosphere is very energetic with forks to plates, conversation, and buzz from the bar. When dining outdoors, it’s a more relaxed dining experience; you take in the views, the smell of freshly cut grass, and let the mountain breeze cool you down. On most weekends you will get to see a beautiful wedding on the back lawn or a reception under the tent. But don’t worry, even a large wedding won’t disturb your dinner plans unless you want it to!
The Views
We can’t talk about Panorama Six82 without talking about the insane views as you enjoy your meal. Prominent views of the White Mountains and 18-hole course, rain or shine. Our outdoor dining is also a big attraction, due to the fresh mountain air, minimal bugs and optimal sun! And, especially during our live music series, which this year starts Sunday, June 6th with B-Man and The Kid.
The Cuisine
We like to define the cuisine as New American, which is also known as Modern American or Contemporary American. It focuses on fusion cooking which combines flavors from traditional American cooking techniques with techniques and flavors from other cultures that make up “the melting pot” of America. Some of those dishes include Hispanic/Latin American, Italian, South American, and Classical French flare.
The Bar
Panorama Six82 is also accompanied by a full bar, serving drinks and our full menu when requested. Assistant Manager, Kristen Cavanaugh, says, “The bar scene is very laid back but provides a welcoming atmosphere to everyone who comes in. We welcome golfers who want to have a simple dinner or lunch, but we can also accommodate those who are looking to have a relaxing, fine-dining meal.” You’ll often find yourself in conversation with the bartender or another guest. Our most popular drink, by far, is our happy hour Cosmo. It’s fruity, but not too sweet and enjoyed by everyone, not just the ladies! And, on our spring cocktail list, the Sunny Days and the Sun-Kissed Punch have been a customer favorite. Both drinks are very light and refreshing, the ideal choice for a hot summer day at Owl’s Nest Resort. We always recommend drinks based on popularity followed by personal favorites!
The Private Dining Room
Our Private Dining Room is available to be rented out and set up how you like. It is equipped with a fireplace, TV, private bar, views of the White Mountains, and of holes #1 and #02. For example, the space is perfect for small parties, gatherings, meetings, celebrations, and bachelor/bachelorette parties!
The Reviews
Chef Juan won the local Chowder Fest for his Smoked Scallop & Saffron chowder, and the local Chili Fest for his Adobo Chili. Panorama Six82 has been prominently featured in New England Living Magazine and NH Flavors. Our customers love Panorama Six82 for its brunch, outdoor dining, scenic views, romantic atmosphere, notable wine list, vibrant bar scene, and group dining. Aka everything we do! This helped us achieve many accolades, notable reviews, and the best of all, the 2022 Diner’s Choice Award.
As our General Manager, Brad McCoil says, dining at Panorama Six82 “is a true experience that can’t be had anywhere else.” We hope you enjoyed this tour into Panorama Six82, whether you decide to dine in or take out, we’ll make sure the food and experience are what you want each time.
