Whether you’re looking for mountains, lakes, rivers, golf courses, racquet courts, or just a quiet spot in the outdoors, Owl’s Nest has you covered. We’re 3 minutes off I-93, so there’s no long stretch of back roads at the end of the trip.
In winter, Waterville Valley, Loon, Tenney Mountain, and Cannon are all within 15 to 30 minutes, so you can have your pick of some of the best skiing on the East Coast. When the snow melts, the same roads lead to the White Mountain National Forest, endless miles of hiking and biking trails, and the Pemigewasset River. Squam Lake is only 20 minutes away for a day on the water, and Lake Harold is right here on the property.
Towns like Plymouth (10 minutes away) and Lincoln (20 minutes away) are a short drive up and down I-93, with grocery stores, restaurants and shops, and Franconia Notch (25 minutes away) and the Kancamagus Highway (20 minutes away) are an easy cruise for leaf peeping season.
Most of our owners make the drive from Boston in under two hours, and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is about an hour away, which makes weekend trips and flying in easy. Once you’re here, there’s no need to drive anywhere else for your day: golf, racquet courts, spa, fitness, dining and the lake are all on the property.
