Owl’s Nest Vineyard Course Renovation & Expansion
Golf and wine lovers have something exciting to look forward to. Owl’s Nest Resort has acquired White Mountain Country Club and is transforming the property into its newly branded sister course, the Owl’s Nest Vineyard Course.
The course is currently undergoing a complete redesign led by esteemed course designer Robert McNeil in partnership with the Northeast Golf Company. Once completed, the Vineyard Course will become an exciting addition to Owl’s Nest’s growing golf portfolio in the White Mountains.
A Major Course Redesign
The Vineyard Course renovation includes extensive upgrades designed to elevate the playing experience while enhancing the natural beauty of the landscape.
Planned improvements include:
New hole layouts and the construction of two new holes
Extensive tree management and expanded meadow areas
New tee boxes and improved irrigation systems
Re-grassing throughout the course
Construction of over 50 new bunkers
Updated cart paths
Work on the course is being completed in phases, with significant progress already underway.
Dining & Guest Experience Enhancements
In addition to the course improvements, several upgrades are planned to enhance the overall guest experience.
The on-site restaurant will be expanded, and new event and function space will be added to the property. The practice green will also be relocated closer to the first tee to improve course flow and accessibility.
The property will also feature the upcoming Pemi Burger Bar, offering creative burgers, sandwiches, craft beer, and cocktails for golfers and visitors.
A Vineyard in the White Mountains
One of the most unique additions to the property is the 10-acre vineyard planted on the course grounds.
The vineyard is expected to support a future winery that will produce Pinot Noir and the state’s only locally produced sparkling wine. This addition will create a distinctive destination where guests can enjoy golf, wine, and sweeping views of the White Mountains.
Looking Ahead
The Owl’s Nest Vineyard Course is expected to host its grand opening in Spring 2025. In the meantime, the course will remain open for play throughout much of the renovation process.
Once complete, the Vineyard Course will offer golf, dining, event space, and scenic vineyard views, further expanding Owl’s Nest Resort’s offerings for members and visitors alike.
