Over the course of the past few months, the construction teams at Owl’s Nest have been hard at work building a variety of new event venues and amenities for guests to enjoy at the resort. Amongst several construction projects and updates currently ongoing at the resort, Owl’s Nest Resort is eager to share some updates on the Boathouse, Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions, as well as Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar!
Check out some updates on these construction projects that are getting closer to completion:
1. The Boathouse
The Boathouse is a 6,000 square-foot modern barn that will serve as the center of lakeside recreation and dining in Owl’s Nest’s Lakeside Village. The Boathouse is home to an outdoor, year-round swimming pool, a 30-person jacuzzi, a poolside bar, seafood restaurant, heated patio, as well as Lake Harold watercraft rentals! The Boathouse also provides lakeside event space perfect for small gatherings and group retreats with space upstairs that will hold up to 80 people.
For an update on the interior of the Boathouse, the upstairs event space has been fully completed and is now officially operational. Downstairs, the kitchen, bar, and dining area are under construction while kitchen equipment and HVAC systems are being installed simultaneously. In terms of the exterior of the Boathouse, the heated patio paver installation has been completed, along with the design and construction of both the swimming pool and the jacuzzi!
Owl’s Nest Resort expects the pool and jacuzzi to be open for guests just in time for summer, while the restaurant does not have a set opening date yet.
2. Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions
For those staying at the resort as lodging guests, or just visiting for a round of golf and some racquet court time, Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions is a one-stop-shop for gourmet deli sandwiches, local coffee, as well as other culinary delights. Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions will be a convenient resort outlet for any immediate household and dining needs that you may find yourself wanting during your stay. With Butch’s, you will no longer have to worry if you forget to pack something, as it will be conveniently and easily accessible!
Regarding construction, Butch’s Deli has seen fantastic progress in the past weeks. The interior design is finished with timber beams, wood-paneled ceilings, and a fireplace. Construction has halted here as the team waits for the arrival of the internal amenities and appliances needed for full operation.
On the exterior, siding, trim pieces, and windows have been fully installed along with the completion of the roof. Externally, Butch’s Deli is complete, and we cannot wait for the interior to follow.
Owl’s Nest Resort expects Butch’s Brooklyn Deli & Provisions to be open in mid to late 2023.
3. Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar
It’s no secret, the southern White Mountains need some quality pizza. Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar is an upcoming 4,000 square-foot Italian style pizzeria located right next to Panorama Six82. The pizzeria and sports bar will be a great place to hang out with friends, relax with a bite to eat and some refreshing beverages, and check out a sports game or two! The pizzeria will feature 10 flatscreen TVs, 2 aboutGolf golf simulators that guests may rent for some exciting entertainment while they dine, a large center bar, as well as an outdoor deck that overlooks the 10th tee box and 18th green.
On the interior of Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar, windows have been installed and the framing for the interior layout, simulator bays, and decks is underway. On the exterior, the roofing has been completed and trim pieces along with siding are installed. Further, the outdoor patio installation and garden beds have been finished, the new Hole 10 tee boxes are complete, and the landscaping is looking gorgeous for the Spring and Summer seasons!
Owl’s Nest Resort anticipates Slice Pizzeria & Sports Bar to be in mid to late 2023.
