This summer, you must add Owl’s Nest’s Boathouse to your bucket list, a 6,000 square foot modern barn that is part of Owl’s Nest’s expansion plans for the coming year
The Boathouse currently features an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, boat rentals, indoor and outdoor showers, radiated heat decks, locker room facilities, and beach access, with plans to open a poolside bar and seafood restaurant. The Boathouse can hold up to 80 people and is the perfect event space for any community programs, work retreats, corporate and private functions, and rehearsal dinners. Owl’s Nest Resort is excited to announce that the pool and jacuzzi is now officially open, and an outdoor stage for concerts and entertainment will be open at the end of July.
Enjoy some fun in the sun at the Boathouse’s new outdoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, now officially open for the summer season every day.
The pool is currently free for use for all visitors and guests of Owl’s Nest! Spending time in the pool is a great way to relax and get some stress relief, and also get some good exercise in while you are soaking up the rays!
Guests can also enjoy refreshing beverages from the poolside bar. The poolside bar will be offering beach-themed cocktails and blended drinks, in addition to the current selection of canned beers.
Live Music
Of course, it would not be the summer season without some live, outdoor entertainment! There is no better place to enjoy an outdoor concert than in the Lakeside Village.
Owl’s Nest is currently in the process of completing the Boathouse outdoor stage that will be directly in front of the pool area and will be perfect for outdoor performances of all types.
As the outdoor stage gets completed and finalized, Owl’s Nest has already scheduled the very first concert that will be held on the Boathouse stage, which will feature the 5-piece band, American Midnight, on Tuesday, July 25th from 5pm – 8pm.
American Midnight, from Boston, Massachusetts, brings a high-energy performance with covers many of today’s hits and instant classics. The concert is perfect for anyone of any age, so bring the entire family! Not to mention, admission to the concert is free of charge, and seating is lawn style, so bring your favorite chairs or coziest blankets to enjoy the show.
Throughout the duration of the concert, you can purchase snacks from the Full Circle Food Truck and drinks from the Boathouse bar. Full Circle Food Truck serves delicious comfort food, including steak and cheese and Italian subs, french fries, mac & cheese, burgers, and quesadillas.
