Owl’s Nest Resort served as the host venue for the Dam Turkey Trot 5K & 1-Mile Race, organized by Fresh Tracks Racing. The annual Thanksgiving race brings runners and community members together for a scenic run while supporting a great cause.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Campton and Thornton Firefighters Association, helping support equipment, training, and local emergency services. Previous races have raised thousands of dollars for the organization.
The 5K course began at Owl’s Nest Resort’s LakeHouse and traveled toward the Dam Brewhouse before returning along the same route. A 1-mile course was also offered within Owl’s Nest Resort, giving runners of all ages and experience levels the opportunity to participate.
Events like the Dam Turkey Trot highlight the strong connection between Owl’s Nest Resort and the surrounding Lakes Region community.
