Banquet & Events Captain – Apply Below!

The Banquet & Events Captain at Owl’s Nest Resort is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and assisting the Banquet and Event service team in executing functions to the highest resort standards. This role ensures that all event details are carried out according to client specifications while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Captain serves as the primary on-site liaison between the client, banquet staff, and other resort departments.

Banquet Servers are critical members of the events team, delivering the client and company expectations within the guidelines and expectations of BEO’s. Banquet Servers will be instrumental in food & tableside beverage service, maintenance and cleanliness of tables, buffets, stations and more. Banquet Servers will directly report to the Banquet Captains and receive their daily staff assignments and side work requirements for the day from the Captains. Banquet Servers are expected to provide top tier service to guests, creating warm and hospitable moments throughout the event.

The Deli Associate assists customers with their food order and retail needs. They maintain product knowledge and answer inquiries. They also ensure all products are sufficiently stocked and displayed according to expiration dates. Operation of POS cash register and handling cash transactions accurately.

The Deli Associate also assists in preparation of food for customers, including slicing deli meats and cheeses, making sandwiches, salads and pricing and packaging items. Learns about new deli items and menu options quickly. Unloads daily deliveries and makes sure the deli display cases are organized and fully stocked with fresh food.

The Catering & Event Specialist provides day to day administration and supervision of all aspects of special events including social events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners and proms, and Resort events such as golf
tournaments, racquet tournaments, leagues, stay and play groups, special dinners, meetings, and conferences. The Specialist is the primary point of contact for booked events and works with all members of the Food & Beverage team to maintain the highest quality of customer service by providing an exceptional guest experience. The Specialist will utilize current and learned skills to increase revenue and guest satisfaction and decrease expenses and waste.

The Event Coordinator position provides direct support to the Director of Sales, Sales Manager, and the Catering Specialists. The coordinator will interact with Owl’s Nest Resort’s group sales clients during many touch points throughout the planning and execution process. The Payroll & Accounting Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting payroll accuracy, financial integrity, and operational efficiency across Owl’s Nest Resort. This position is responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing, time and attendance administration, and accounting support within a multi-department, hospitality-driven environment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced resort operation, and understands the importance of payroll accuracy, service culture, and compliance in a hospitality setting. This role serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, department leaders, and the accounting team, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting month-end close, cost allocations, and budgeting processes.

Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing all human resource functions across Owl’s Nest Resort and Owl’s Nest Vineyard Course. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution, ensuring effective recruiting, payroll oversight, compliance, training, and employee engagement in a seasonal hospitality environment. This position partners with senior leadership to support growth initiatives while directly managing day-to-day Human Resource operations.
